Terms and Conditions for the "Closest to the
Pin" Competition
1. Overview
The "Closest to the Pin" competition ("Competition") is a
golf event open to eligible participants. The Competition includes a prize of
$100 for the Closest to the Pin winner and an additional prize of $500 for the
first hole-in-one achieved during the firs event.
2. Eligibility
- The
Competition is open to all participants who are 18 years or older at the
time of entry.
- Employees,
agents, or affiliates of the event organizers, sponsors, or their
immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
3. How to Enter
- Participants
must register for the event prior to its start time.
- Participation
in the Competition is free and is automatically included in the event
registration.
- To
be eligible for the prizes, participants must complete the hole designated
for the Closest to the Pin competition.
4. Competition Rules
- The
Closest to the Pin competition will take place on a specific hole
designated by the event organizers.
- Participants
will have a designated number of attempts to hit their shot and get the
ball closest to the hole.
- The
winner will be determined by the official measurement of the ball's
distance from the hole.
- In
the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by a tiebreaker, which will
be at the discretion of the event organizers.
5. Prizes
- $100 Prize: The participant who hits the ball closest to the hole without achieving a hole-in-one will receive a $100 prize.
- Prizes
are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other prizes.
6. Hole-in-One Prize Specifics
- Only
the first hole-in-one achieved during the first event will qualify for the $500
prize.
- If a
participant hits a hole-in-one, they must immediately notify an event
official for validation.
- The
event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any hole-in-one claim if
it does not meet official event guidelines or rules.
7. Liability Waiver
- By
participating, all participants agree to release, discharge, and hold
harmless the event organizers, sponsors, and affiliated parties from any
and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to their
participation in the Competition.
- All
participants must abide by the rules and regulations of the event and any
instructions provided by the event officials.
8. General Conditions
- The
event organizers reserve the right to cancel or modify the Competition at
any time without prior notice.
- If a
participant is disqualified for any reason, they will not be entitled to a
prize.
- The
Competition is subject to all local, state, and federal laws and
regulations.
9. Taxes
- Winners
are responsible for any applicable taxes on their prizes. Event organizers
may request the winner’s information to comply with any necessary tax
reporting.
10. Disqualification
The event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who is
found to be in violation of the rules or has engaged in unsportsmanlike
conduct.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of [State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law
principles.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By participating in the Competition, participants agree to these Terms and
Conditions in full. If any part of the Terms and Conditions is deemed
unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force and effect.
