Micheal Willis

Michael holds a diploma of golf management through the Australian PGA and holds many teaching qualifications he has gained over the past 20 years. Some of these include:
  • International USGTF teaching accreditation gained in Florida (2008) 
  • Harold Swash / Phil Kenyon accredited instructor (Phil Kenyon 2017) 
  • Aim point express accreditation (2015) 
  • Golf Mind, Golf Psychology coaching certificate (Dr Brian Hemmings, 2018)
  • Titleist Performance Institute, Level 1, 2 and junior accreditations (2014) 
  • Titleist coaches accreditation, China PGA (Michael Breed, 2011) 
  • Blast motion accreditation (2012) 
  • Titleist custom fit professional accreditation (2011) 
  • Community instructor PGA Australia (2019) Working with children – Victoria

Michael has had great success with elite students including some of Australia’s leading amateur golfers and young professionals. 

Michael was also a professional player, earning a OWGR (1460) from 2000 to 2007. He successfully completed events on the China PGA tour, China tour and other secondary tours worldwide. 

More recently Michael has had success coaching the 2023 state junior pennant winners and professionals currently competing internationally. 

Also some of Michaels students have played the Australia Open and Victoria Open in the past 5 years. Michael is available for lessons on all facets of the game from beginning to professional golf.
